![]() ![]() ![]() The synthesis (T1 -T2) was independently back- translated to English (BT1 and BT2) by two translators who have English as their mother tongue. Secondly, a synthesis of the translations was obtained. A group of two Ph.D.'s with experience in Cross-Cultural Adaptation compared the different translations and evaluated semantic discrepancies, including any linguistic or conceptual issues. The translations were independent, with two Portuguese versions (T1 and T2) of the scale being produced. This step was carried out by two translators were native Portuguese speakers and had fluent English. ![]() The cross-cultural adaptation (Figure 1) began with a translation of the original scale of the MPAM-R into the Portuguese language. After his approval, we started the translation process. we contacted the researcher responsible for the scale to request his authorization to conduct the MPAM-R scale translation. ![]()
